Business graduates from Hartsville SC Center for Innovation

FME Nuclear Solutions, using technology to mitigate risk, is the first business to officially graduate from the incubator for Innovation in Hartsville, SC.  A little less than a year ago people were skeptics that a technology innovation center had any place in the Hartsville environs.  Other people had more daring vision and opened the door for Clemson University to put one of their technology innovators in this dynamic small community located in the Pee Dee of South Carolina. Today, a new business cut its ribbon in downtown Hartsville. This business already has projects with Duke Energy and Florida Power and in a few months will be heading to China to work with additional nuclear power concerns. Today the CEO of the new company said the Innovation Center accelerated his start up by about two years. This is another amazing positive story from the dynamic community of Hartsville, South Carolina.
