About two years ago we built some of the "Selling Hartsville" program around stories that were told by people who moved to and/or lived in our great Hartsville city. Stacie Fields was working as an intern at the Byerly Foundation and wrote several of these stories. I figure there are lots of stories out there that can give credence to the story we tell about Hartsville as a place for pleasant surprises.
